Piracy!

This is the first time I ever drew Cat in the Hat.

More zombie.
Once again I was proud to be asked to participate in the Ronald MacDonald House event at the Warner Brothers Ranch. It is actually one of the few time of the year when I draw for free. And I love it.

This was actually a very specific request referencing some inside joke which was never explained to me.

Ditto.

Captain America is hard to see in the sunlight.

Better.

Family Batman

Rhys is a cool kid.

Adventure Time!

Fellow artist and myself.
I guess this should be entered here on my blog even though the photos don’t show the fun and excitement as well as they should. I was invited to teach a special class at the local public junior high school on airbrushing. They have a great set up for airbrushing but wasn’t sure how to use it. I came in and worked with the art teacher as well as did a special class for the “advanced” students. Fun.

Once again I am late in posting this but here we go…
I spent FCBD down at The Comic Bug. in Manhattan beach. I have known Mike Wells for years but had never been to his store before. It is awesome. And the event was a madhouse. It was supposed to be from 11 to 4 and I spent the entire time drawing and meeting cool people. I looked up and it was 5 and I was still knocking out sketches for people. There was a DJ, girls on rollerskates, people in costumes. If you knew Mike he was hooking you up with adult beverages on the DL. A madhouse. Definitely worth the trouble if you are in the neighborhood. Now on to the sketches. I did others but you never get pics of everything you do at these things.

One of my Stratospheric Comics characters.

A giant robot.
Here are a few of the sketches I took down to the Long Beach Comic Con. And brought back.

Dragon.

From the latest book I worked on, Moonlight Cutter.

And some other character I never heard of.
I literally just finished drawing these. Both done as a warm up bit o’ fun.

Grinch.

Man-Wolf.

A reworked, older sketchpage.

And a new one.
Here are a few pics of people wearing team shirts for a team mud-run. I did the “Team Okie Dokie” design thereon.

Looking good.

Mother daughter duo.

Excited about it.

And the aftermath.
