This is actually for a tattoo for somebody. Phoenix, or as the chinese call it, “Wondrous Bird”. By the way I put the “sample” mark over it because I have had the clients I do tattoo artwork for get antsy if they think somebody else can easily get the same art for their own tattoo.

After going through several boxes of old notes and sketches I decided to put some of that vintage Zailo art up here. Maybe it’s from a storyboard gig, maybe it’s some advertising, maybe it’s a gaming illo. Grab bag style!
